The American Down & Feather Section of the HFPA requires Down to reach a Turbidity Factor of 350. Turbidity is the standard of measure of purity and cleanliness. A Turbidity Factor of 450 is considered hypo-allergenic, the Down used for this comforter averages 500-550 turbidity.
